Too much plastic for a sea side town

Superbly organised great Marshall's and wonderful atmosphere

3rd time doing Weymouth half. Very good all round for beginners and intermediates. Course is great, good veiws and friendly people and mashalls. Goodie bag for finishers could do with improvement.

My only issue is not having the use of headphones, I can see why from a safety perspective, but Bone conduction sports headphones are headphones that are approved for use in all road races under the UK Athletics Rules of Competition.

My only negative for me was the finish, would prefer just run into finish rather then heading into carpark first, surely that distance can be found in the route somewhere.

I’m mean who wouldn’t want a dinosaur medal?
It’s a pretty fast race with some nasty hills near the end.
Great conditions this year and the scenery is always nice around Weymouth.
Brilliant marshals will come back again.

This course was great. The scenery was fantastic and the course itself was perfect for a first timer, like myself.
Event staff were friendly and encouraging around the course too! Would definitely recommend and I’ll definitely be doing this again next year.

Loving the atmosphere and support from marshals and spectators, constantly willing you on. Challenging hills, beautiful views. Love the Weymouth Half Marathon, but this is my last as I do find it very difficult.

Nice course, amazing medal, but please educate the Marshalls!! My partner is a fast runner, went for a PB, and asked the Marshall near the finish line which way it was to the finish as it was overcrowded and was directed another way, he wasn’t the only one sent the other way! He would’ve got a PB if it wasn’t for this!

I was disappointed that the run didn’t have an option to have a t-shirt or any snacks at the end of the race. It’s the small things that make a good race a great race.

Multiple people I ran withs smart watch came up short on the run, good run but annoying PB doesn’t show!

Loved the change of route around the harbour!

This was my first ever race and I loved it!
When looking at the results in the car I realized I was first in my age category. We stayed and watched some of the prize giving, and on the way home result came through that I came 1st in my age category for the half half

Again another fantastic event, with thousands of beautiful people taking part and supporting. I am lucky to live here and the race is on my doorstep. Anyone thinking of doing their first or another one look no further than Weymouth half marathon.

Overall brilliant race, such a nice place to run! The hills are nasty in the 2nd half, but they’re really short so they don’t hold you up too much. Only two slight grumbles - first one is that the start is not very well organised in terms of splitting into estimated finish times. I looked for one suitable for me but there was one too fast and one way too slow, couldn’t see any others. It didn’t really matter though as the half half runners are mixed in, so it’s a congested start regardless. Second grumble is there’s a very small set of stairs to go up in the second half, not a big deal but did throw me off my rhythm slightly. All in all would 100% recommend this race, and recurved the best medal I’ve had so far
