The volunteers were fantastic, the team at bag drop were super organised, the marshalls out on course were very supportive and overall the race seemed very well organised. Enjoyed the course, however it was a little longer than a half marathon distance and a few runners were not happy about it.

I loved this half marathon. It was so well supported and organised.
I am local so fully new what to exoect regards the route and hills. The band at the nothe particularly made me chuckle sing its the end of the hill when i knew there was far worse yo come.
I struggled the second half after feelung great and all the support first half i would love it to be in reverse and the finish was hard when it was insight then having to run past and back up.
As much as i loved the medal i personally would of prefered a running tshirt but just my preference.
However i loved it and signed up again for next year. Thank you

Well organised and good value for money.
Route was scenic and well supported and signposted, although hillier than expected, the climbs were worth it.
Half marathon medal is great, best in collection and made it very worth it.
If I could change anything, it would have been nicer as a straight along the prom as felt a bit twisty and hard for spectators.

It's waa lovely running along the sea front. Well organised and the marshalls were great.

I think the half half race should start at a different time to avoid congestion at the start.

Overall the event was great, I really did enjoy it.
For improvement, maybe a worded description of the map it was difficult to figure out the route on the online tool.
I do wish there was some other refreshments on the course, even a gel, or like an electrolyte drink would be great but not the end of the world.
And the final thing would be more visibility of the medical team. Felt like there wasn’t many on the second half of the course.

Having said that, honestly the course and the day was lovely. I got an amazing PB and it was an amazing achievement. Don’t underestimate the hills!

From signing up to finishing this event was brilliant. Easy to sign up, lots of pre event communication. Lots of information about the event and details about parking and getting there. The route was very clear and lots of friendly marshalls doing a great job. At the start line there were sections clearly marked for expected finish times so everyone knew where to stand. Lovely view along the way. The first half is basically flat with a few hills in the second. The medal at the end was brilliant as well! Great job

Few bollards in the way near the beginning although otherwise excellent well run event. Ie one person fell over one and I nearly deed along with others.
