Marshaling at start and finish could have been better.
it was clear when the race started

My only criticism would be the organisation at the start which was a bit chaotic. No announcement the run was starting and it wasn't at all clear where to go ie round the roundabout and back. Better signage and a loud speaker near the start where people can hear it would have been helpful. Otherwise, a great event.

This was my first half marathon race. It was a beautiful course with friendly support along the way. Weymouth is a lovely place I had never been here before either- we would now like to come back for a family holiday.

I started at the front, but I would imagine for the people behind, it's not obvious.
The bit around the carpark had not even a cone or marshall to run around, so the corner started to get cut.
Marshalls were brilliant for 99% of the course.
I had difficulty getting to the finish line as it was poorly marshalled at this one point. Your just met with a mass of runners and it's not clear where you should go as there is a divide of cones also.
Blessed with amazing weather, the scenery is amazing also.
Medal is always good, but maybe a t shirt would be nice also.
But pretty decent well organised event.

My first time at Weymouth half marathon but I've ran lots of others and this one is up there as one of my favourites. My son’s 1st half marathon and he loved it.
Lovely route, well organised, will definitely be back.

The half marathon was well-organised and the route was super scenic. First half is more or less flat with challenging sections in the second half, a few tough short climbs but part of this wonderful iconic half.
It would have been nice to have a t-shirt option. Also, some type of nutrition at the end of the race. We all got a bottle of water, but something like a banana or small paper goodie bag like most races, would have been nice. A truly wonderful event. Please to come first in my age group as well

A bit of a chaotic start but apart from that the scenery is amazing and the marshals were, as always, brilliant. The course distance is usually short for this race but this year it was spot on.

This was my first ever half marathon, I enjoyed every moment and can’t wait to take part again next year!

Brilliant communication from the organisers with route plans, timings, etc. Got my number in plenty of time and the race itself was very well planned from start to finish. The volunteers were great too, cheered us on in a very cold day.

Second time running the Weymouth half (and I got my PB I was so desperate for after taking part for the first time last year and being disappointed with my time!).

Despite the cold, it was a beautiful day with minimal wind. Well organised, plenty of friendly Marshalls and I loved the addition of water bottles being given out at the finishing line instead of cups of water! Last year, a cup was not enough for me!
The medals are ace! I love a bit of bling!
I also love the early start! Despite having to get up early to fuel, it means I have the rest of the day free!
Pre-race literature states no headphones but I saw a lot of people wearing them! Annoying when I like to run with mine but followed the rules and left them at home!

The only thing I would moan about is the finish..having to run past the finish line and running around the roundabout is frustrating! Could you not move it into the car park so we run directly towards it without running back on ourselves? As all the information given out prior to the event states the car park is closed anyway?

Also this year I found the finish funnel very busy with the tables placed there! So much so, I was handed a bottle of water and didn’t get my medal! It wasn’t until I walked away I had asked where the medal people were and had to walk back to the table!

Despite the above..I am a local and will most likely sign up to it again next year!

If i could make one suggestion it would be that it starts a little early. 8am does not really allow time for food and hydration. Our hotel did not start breakfast until 7 so had no time to get breakfast.

If I could make one suggestion it would be 'bring back the buffs'. These were such an awesome bonus to receive at the finish line and I wear mine from previous years all the time. Or have an option to buy one online with new designs each year.

I would have expected a finisher T-shirt for the money paid. I would rather have that than a medal to be honest.
