Great Route, Great Atmosphere and Amazing Medal
Route was really great overall with lovely scenery and great mix of vistas.
The on route support was brilliant across the course both organised and general.
The pre race admin was a little chaotic in the pavilion with limited facilities and ‘need’ for registration not clear. Bag drop not used but looked simple.
Post race was also a little flat for me, no goodies (not needed but nice touch). No stalls, merch or entertainment that I could see. Again not needed but nice to have.
Staff were all lovely, engaging and positive.
Medal is amazing!!
Overall, great race that I would consider again and could a special one with a few added touches.

Very pretty
Pretty marathon, but more hilly than advertised, lots of narrow pathways and shared roads and there should be more bins after water stations!

Lovely event one of my favourites so far and I’ve done a few!! Well organised great atmosphere loved it
None of the usual problems bag drop was amazing loads of toilets Marshalls everywhere great communication before the event brilliant medal - we will be back

Great race but Don’t bother with the insurance
I had an injury (muscle tear) the day before the race, so went to claim as I took out the insurance, and they refused and said it was past the 60 day deadline? What a waste of money that was!!
