Love the early start!

Brilliant event. Well organised, beautiful views, amazing medal! Some tough hills in the second half so pace yourself early on. Absolutely loved it.

Would love the course to be reversed so the hills are at the beginning! Jokes aside this was a fab event and I really enjoyed myself. Great course and really well organised.

Slow to get to the start once the start whistle goes and the new start route made the beginning of the race slow.
Once out on the seafront it was much easier

Well Organised especially the bag drop. Did have to stop as a car pulled out on me around 15km, which was a bit sketchy.

Loved the medal.

A great route, with some slightly challenging hills, but fantastic scenery.
The road closures make for a nice spacious route.
The medal is fantastic!
Only areas I could suggest for improvement would be having electrolyte drink along the route and some snack (bananas, protein bars etc) at the finish.
It would also be nice if the local council could remove dog mess from the Rodwell Trail section before the event.

I really enjoyed this well organised,scenic and friendly half marathon. I misjudged my pacing as I had been told it was a flattish course and there were a few hills on the second half, so the wheels did fall of , but that was my fault for not checking the elevation map.. The weather was great this year which made for a perfect day, although I could imagine being a coastal course, that starts at 8am in March the potential for harsh weather conditions would be quite high. I would definitely recommend this half marathon for beginners and more experienced runners alike. Thank you for being such great hosts Weymouth

Such a lush half, the cut off time definitely adds pressure and makes it more stressful unfortunately. Had a few issues with cars so maybe needs more Marshalls in road areas… the medal is great though, would have loved the opportunity to buy a tshirt

This is a great event and will appeal to beginners and experienced half marathon runners. A nice flat first half with some challenges in the second. 5 year graded first three prizes and good quality finishers medals. Well done to alk the organisers and volunteers!

Good amount of water stations - more than previous years I believe BUT lack of waste disposal. A few more bins would be great!
